Kidney Stones Home Remedies

The symptoms of kidney stones can be debilitating; in addition to the excruciating pain, one may experience the urge to urinate every few minutes, nausea or vomiting, and even bloody urine.

To help resolve the problem, a proper diagnosis and treatment plan are required. However, the natural remedies listed below may be able to alleviate your pain and discomfort. Check them out and begin following them after consulting with your doctor.

1.Tomato

Tomatoes contain bioactive compounds such as citrates, which can aid in the treatment of kidney stones. They can significantly reduce and even prevent the formation of kidney stones.

-You will require two tomatoes.
1 tsp. lemon juice
-What You Must Do
Create a paste with one or two tomatoes and a teaspoon of lemon juice.
Take it all in.

Perform this 1-2 times per week.

2.Water

As previously stated, insufficient water consumption is a major cause of kidney stones. Water helps to delay the formation of crystals and flushes calcium and phosphorus from the kidneys.

-10-12 glasses of water are required.

-What You Must Do
Every day, drink 10-12 glasses of water.

3.Juice from Radishes

According to research, drinking radish juice increases the excretion of calcium oxalates in the urine. It also aids in the removal of any crystals that may have formed in your kidneys.

-You will require 1-2 radishes.

-What You Must Do
Blend a radish or two to extract the juice.
On an empty stomach, drink 100 mL of this juice every morning.

Repeat for 1-2 weeks.

4.Leaf of Basil

Basil leaves are one of the most commonly used herbs in traditional medicine and Ayurvedic medicine. They have a diuretic effect, which means they can increase urine volume and aid in the elimination of kidney stones (10).

-You Will Require
a couple of basil leaves
1 cup of hot water
1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Allow a cup of boiling water to steep a handful of basil leaves.
Strain and drink the decoction.
If necessary, add a teaspoon of honey.

Take this 2-3 times per day.

This condition can sometimes last longer than it should and cause a great deal of pain. You must consult your doctor in such cases. If the stones become lodged in the urinary tract, they can cause severe pain and must be removed immediately.

Other symptoms to seek medical attention include vomiting, blood in the urine, cloudy urine, fatigue, loss of consciousness, and lower abdominal and genital pain that lasts more than four weeks.
